Joy and Allan had an early interest in their Family History which continued into and through their family.
Joy has over 30 years experience with transcriptions from the early 1990’s and in 1995 was appointed as an Accredited Transcription Agent to the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. These years have provided Joy with expertise in understanding registrations and reading old handwriting.
Since 1989 Joy became a volunteer consultant at the Mortdale Family History Centre and was as an Assistant Director for a number of years. Allan volunteered as a consultant and he too was an Assistant Director. Joy and Allan enjoyed working in the Family History Centre and attribute that time to their extended experience.
The family business has now grown to include Transcription and Certificate Services for England/Wales, Scotland, Victoria and New Zealand.
Joy and Allan have spoken at Family History Societies, Seminars and Conferences and always draw a crowd.
With years of experience as a transcription agent, and a vast array of knowledge, Joy & Allan continue to find joy in their own family, and in assisting others find joy in family history.
